The Bajaj Pulsar 250F’s launch is right around the corner and its latest teaser highlighted many of its aspects. So, here’s a summary of everything we know about Bajaj’s biggest Pulsar so far:
New Design But Same Roots
Well before the official teaser, we had already spotted the Pulsar 250F’s test mule, giving away its design. And the teaser confirmed every detail.
The Pulsar 250F will bear a new design language with an all-new fascia comprising an LED projector flanked by sleek brow-like DRLs. This is complemented by a tall windscreen (for improved wind protection) and a sporty belly pan.
But even with the new design, the bike stays in line with its roots. This is evident from the silhouette, the muscular semi-fairing and the LED taillight, which seem inspired from the Pulsar 220F’s popular design language. Oh, and there’s a little NS200 DNA too, as the 250F gets the same alloys as the streetfighter, probably for cutting costs.
One of the biggest gripes with the existing Pulsars is their lack of features, something that Baja will fix on the Pulsar 250F. You see, the test mule of the Pulsar 250F was equipped with LEDs all around, be it the front projector or the indicators, which is a much-needed step up from the bulb units.
Speaking of a step up, the Pulsar 250F will also pack a new instrument cluster. Not much is known about it at the moment, but from the teaser, it seems to be a fully digital unit like the Dominar 400. We’d love it if Bajaj offers smartphone connectivity with navigation. If so, it'll be the first Bajaj bike to get this feature.

A New Powerhouse And Better Underpinnings
The Pulsar 250F will employ a new 250cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. Details are scarce on this, but we expect the new mill to make more power than the 220F. However, the bump won’t be too substantial.
Along with this, the Pulsar 250F will feature a new monoshock at the rear, while retaining a telescopic fork up front. The braking hardware will comprise petal discs at both ends, coupled with dual-channel ABS.
All this makes us quite excited for the new Bajaj Pulsar 250F. And it seems like a worthy successor to the iconic Pulsar 220F. When it arrives, the bike will lock horns with the Yamaha FZS-25.
