Dealers have confirmed that DSK Benelli has introduced the ABS version of its popular TNT 600i in India, which costs around Rs 40,000 extra and will replace the non-ABS standard model.
One of the fastest growing superbike brands in India, DSK Benelli has finally introduced the much requires safety feature, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), in its popular TNT 600i, while other models are yet missing it. The ABS-equipped version has been priced at Rs 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and we have confirmed through some dealers that the around Rs 40,000 cheaper non-ABS trim will be totally replaced with the ABS variant after clearing the stock.
As we mentioned above, ABS is a much-required safety feature for motorcycles. The Benelli TNT 600i is the most powerful motorcycle in its price range and comes with a high-performance braking system comprising of dual 320mm front and single 260mm rear disc brakes. This new safety feature will endow bikers even more confidence to ride the bike.
Powering the TNT 600i is an advanced 600cc engine in an inline 4-cylinder configuration with liquid-cooling. The high revving motor makes 85PS at 11,500rpm and delivers a peak torque of 54.6Nm at 10,500rpm using an electronic fuel injection system. Built on a semi-trellis tubular steel frame, the bike gets a cast aluminum chassis at the rear. The styling of the Italian motorcycle has been kept simple while giving some exciting highlights like tank shrouds, bold headlamp and dual under-seat exhausts.
The 17” alloys of Benelli TNT 600i gets 120/70 section front and 180/55 section rear tyres. The suspension set-up is also premium and comprises of fat 50mm upside-down telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable offset laydown shock at the rear. In combination with all these amazing features and the high power-rated engine, the new ABS feature completes the pack to make this a perfect performance motorcycle and a stronger rival for the competition.
