But worry not, as the premium isn’t all that much
- The Honda Activa 6G features a segment-first silent starter.
- It also features a telescopic front fork and an external fuel filler - a first for the 110cc Activa.
- The scooter offers 10 percent better mileage than the BS4 Activa 5G.
Honda has increased the price of its popular scooter, the Activa 6G, yet again. The Honda Activa 6G and its variants’ prices were last recorded in August 11, 2020, and here is the detailed price list:
Thankfully, the premium isn’t all that much. But compared to the Activa 6G’s launch price, the Standard as well as the Deluxe variants are Rs 1,507 more expensive now. In a first for the 110cc Activa range, Honda has equipped the 6G with a telescopic front fork and an external fuel filler cap.
Other notable features include a silent starter, LED headlamp, engine kill switch and an apron-mounted multifunction switch for the boot lid, fuel cap and ignition. The scooter’s 109.51cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine produces 7.79PS and 8.79Nm. Honda has equipped the motor with a number of friction reduction technologies to ensure optimum refinement. These features have also increased the claimed mileage by 10 percent compared to the BS4-compliant Honda Activa 5G.
The primary rival to the Honda Activa 6G is the TVS Jupiter BS6, which starts from Rs 63,102. Another noteworthy alternative is the Hero Pleasure Plus, which is a lot more affordable, starting at Rs 56,100.
