KTM has increased the prices of its entire BS6 range, which includes the 125cc, 2200cc, 250cc, 390cc Duke, RC and Adventure models. The price hike ranges from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000. This is KTM’s first price hike since its BS6 launch in April this year. Here’s the updated price list:
The KTM 200 Duke BS6 gets the smallest price hike. It received a generational update with a new bodywork that also led to the 200 Duke BS6 costing Rs 10,496 more than the BS4 model. The bikes receiving the biggest hikes are the RC 390 BS6 and 390 Adventure. While the RC 390 was not updated substantially, the 390 Adventure was recently launched in January.
KTM had updated its entire lineup to BS6 norms back in April. While the BS6-compliant RC models and 125 Duke received just a colour update, the other Duke models got extra features. The 250 Duke BS6 got new colours and a Supermoto mode while its larger cousin, the 390 Duke BS6, got a quickshifter.
KTM has updated its entire portfolio to BS6 norms except for the 790 Duke. The BS6 790 Duke is expected to launch in India by early 2021.
